Going to be so sore tomorrow, but -

Best day ever!

Oh! So does this mean I get to be a part of that sisterhood thing Resetti was talking about now?

So, Cymry doesn't really believe in outfits. Hell, she barely believes in clothes. This is pretty much the extent of her wardrobe. Mix and match as you please, even dresses with pants, and (ye gads!) the plaid tops with that floral skirt.

And remember, shoes are optional. )

Whimper pout

*blocked from everyone*

I'm told these things can be set so no one else reads them. Hello? Can anyone see this? No? Good.

Maybe if I write these thoughts down, I can help make better sense of them. Some things have happened since I last wrote.

Tohru took me to visit where he grew up, in Bangladesh. It was very interesting, and a nice trip. I'm happy I got to see another part of the world I hadn't until then, and even happier he was willing to share a bit of his past with me. It was a great honor. And it just made me think how I couldn't wait to bring him home and introduce him to my family and share with him all the great things about the place I grew up... And then that's where the trouble started.

I have no idea, really, how relationships on the outside work!

Back home, when you pick your mate, you're with them for the rest of your life, usually, until one of them dies. They're their other half! And they're happy, they stay happy, just to have each other... They don't look at anyone else, eyes only for one person. But - from what I've seen so far, people on the outside change their mates, it seems, every so often. And this is - normal?

Maj and Jean're mates now - but she was 'dating' someone else before him. And she has a kid by still yet someone else!

Larry Lupin was involved with one girl when I first met him, and he seemed so very happy with her...! Then he got involved with Kami - who is very nice, but still...?

... And there was that lady I met in Hogsmeade, oh so long ago, with kids by - what was it? Four, five different men...?

I don't understand. But it gives me a very very cold feeling to think Tohru and I've both got holds on different ends of the rabbit.

Maybe this is what he expects to happen...?

I wish I could talk to my dad. He was from the outside, too. He'd know what to do...

I'm so so so very sorry for not writing in so long! I've just been really happy, and writing in this completely slipped my mind! Though I wish I had remembered to write! I could've recorded just HOW happy I was, and preserved those feeling forever.

Ok, so - ! I'm still up on Ezla. And I'm probably going to end up staying up here until July rolls around.

And wanna know whyyy?

Because, I have a mate!

A mate!

And it's Tohru!

And I'm happy, I'm happy, I'm so super happy!

He's absolutely the greatest thing ever. He's so smart, and kind and gentle. He gives the best hugs, has the widest smile of anyone I've ever seen, and the most genuine laugh. He's patient and sweet and makes me feel understood. He smells really, really good. And I absolutely adore him.

Oh, Larry - thank you so very much! The advice you gave me worked so well! I need to do something to repay your kindness next time I see you!

And I really need to ask Maj or someone if there's anything I can do to earn my keep while I'm up here.

Hello again! So here's a run-down of the things that've happened since I last wrote.

Betty and I have parted ways with... er... something less than love and gratitude. While we were still in Virginia, she thought it would be a good idea to visit New York to sight-see, since it was so close. So we hopped a train and went. I didn't like it very much, to be honest. It was so noisy and loud and filled with weird, bad smells. And we ending up loosing each other in the crowed streets. SO MANY PEOPLE.

ANYWAY. While I was out looking for her, I ran into this group of young men and this lady who knew my old friend Larry Lupin from Hogsmeade. How crazy is that? Anyway, they were nice enough. They helped me look for Betty, and when we couldn't find her, they bought me some food to eat.

They ended up taking back to this magical floating island they all live on, called 'Ezla' so that's where I am now. It's amazing! According to Tohru, it's something like 50 thousand feet up in the air and when you look down, you can see EVERYTHING. They even have some woods too! It's not very big, but I like it a lot! It reminds me of home, there's a bunch of kids camping out and always doing stuff outside.

And - oh! Tohru's one of the guys who brought me up here in case you were wondering. He's super super nice and he's been helping to explain things up here to me. I've been spending a lot of time with him, I like him a lot.

I think I'll stick around up here for a bit before I have to leave.

Hello, again!

A lot has happened since I last wrote. I'm now in Virginia. It's still cold, but it's a bit warmer here.

I left Gavin's about a week ago. (My ankle's all healed up! I can walk on it again!) I felt bad when I had to leave, we became such good friends while I was staying there. But the exciting thing is, he said he'd think about going to join the pack back home! He's a lot like Larry in regards of not being able to control himself, but I think he'll learn quick enough when he gets there, just like Larry did. I'm very happy about that. He seemed so loney all by himself...

Oh, I met the nicest pair of men while I was leaving Vermont. They had weird names, and I didn't ask how to spell them so I could write them down and remember... I feel bad about that. Anyway, I was starving, so they took me to this nice older lady's house and gave me a sandwich. I feel bad for the one guy, who was telling me about how his race was dying out and how he was trying to rebuild it, but the remaining members of it didn't want to help him. Isn't that sad? How selfish can you be?

Anyway - I met a girl named Betty (Why did she seem so amused when she gave me her name?) who's about my age. She shared a boxcar with me on the train-ride down. She says she doesn't have anywhere particular to go, and will travel with me for a while. She talks a lot of gibberish and doesn't always make sense. She smells a bit... off. Like she's rotting inside... And she's always snorting this weird white stuff she says is candy. She offered me some, but it made my nose itch and sneeze and I really didn't like it.

So I'm off! Betty says we should head down to Florida since it's warmer down there, so I guess I'll write when I get there!

It's been a while since I've written anything. I am sorry. I had no pen to write with, but my new friend Gavin gave me this one.

It's very very cold here. I made it all the way to North America - I'm in a place called 'Vermont' which, I'm told, is at the north-eastern bit of America. It's very pretty.

After leaving Hogsmeade in Scotland after Holly-ween, I went back to Madam Whammy's in London, who gave me a bit more money to use to get here. I made friends with a nice man on a mail-carrier ship, who allowed me passage for a small fee. It was nice, but it made me very ill.

I got here right at the start of winter. I wandered around the cities of 'New England' for a bit, before I decided to into the woodland. Which wasn't very smart, given the traps people set out in the woods, that hide under the leaves and snow. I got my foot caught in one the night of December 12, and was stranded for several hours until the morning when Gavin found me, when by then I nearly froze.

Gavin is very nice. He lives out here in the woods all alone and is like me. He's been taking care of me until my ankle heals, which I hope will be soon.
